Amenities for all ages

Amenities

Athletic Club & Sports Complex

With a master plan that devotes 140 acres to recreational amenities, Eagle Springs is a community where you can spread your wings and let life soar.

Our flagship amenity is the Eagle Springs Athletic Club & Sports Complex, a 15-acre hub of activity where residents can enjoy everything from soccer to swimming. The Athletic Club and Sports Complex highlights a 3,800-square-foot Clubhouse, providing a popular spot for activities ranging from book club to scrapbooking set up by the fulltime Activities Coordinator.  The Clubhouse is also home to a Fitness Center that offers state-of-the-art cardio and weight training equipment, along with men's and women's locker rooms.

The swim complex features a children’s spray pool and a Junior Olympic size pool. The Junior Olympic pool has eight lap lanes and a diving well and is designed for competitive swimming and training.

The Sports complex has an abundance of activity with a play area with swings, slides and other irresistible features for Eagle Springs residents.  Residents can also practice at the two soccer fields or tennis courts.

Eagle Springs has two baseball fields designed for players from ages 7-14.  Named Firebird Park and Talon Field, these fields recall the classic days of baseball with details such as old-fashioned gateways and brick backstops.

The Island Club
at Lake Montage

Water is the main attraction at this resort-style amenity, at least during the swim season, with a swimming pool featuring a water park and slide.  As the name promises, an island landscaped with palm trees and fountains extends into the pool, offering a place for sunbathing. Located along Lake Montage, a pedestrian bridge connects it to nearby neighborhoods.

The Island Club is also a place for all seasons, with additional amenities including a
picnic pavilion and a  granite “memorial wall” designed to celebrate the wooded environment at Eagle Springs.  Engraved with famous quotes about trees and nature, the memorial wall is designed to make a statement about how Newland Communities views tree preservation at Eagle Springs.
It includes a Thomas Fuller quote, “He that plants trees loves others more than himself.”  Also engraved in granite is Aristotle’s saying, “In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous.”

Parks

The Eagle Springs master plan includes a balance of community parks, such as Town Green and Eagle Park, along with pocket parks located along the extensive greenbelt trail system.  Many more Eagle Springs parks are tucked into its neighborhoods, offering nearby playgrounds and natural beauty for surrounding homeowners, as well as the delight of discovery for all residents.

Some of the community’s most distinctive parks include Natchez Park, featuring a series of multi-tiered decks under the trees – ideal for parties!  Butterfly Park offers an educational opportunity along with a feast for the eyes, with a year-round palette of flowers designed to attract butterflies.  Interpretive signs explain how butterflies use these plants for nectar and larval food.   The English Garden, situated along Lake Montage offers a charming backdrop for a photo or reflective moment.  With its covered lakefront pavilion, it is also a perfect place for resident events.

Greenbelts

Enjoy running, biking and hiking along the miles of greenbelt trails meandering throughout the Eagle Springs master plan. You can even work out as you go along using the exer-trail features. Accented with inviting benches and arbors, these greenbelts connect residential neighborhoods to Eagle Springs Elementary School and amenities such as the Athletic Club & Sports Complex. Many of the community’s largest parks are also located along the greenbelt trail system.

Activities Coordinator

To help residents get the most out of their community and its amenities, Eagle Springs has its own Activities Coordinator. This experienced professional organizes a wide array of weekly activities for residents of all ages, from team sports to social events.

Just as important, the Activities Coordinator works with residents to help them create and run their own groups and clubs. Thanks to support from our Activities Coordinator and a residents-only Intranet,
www.insideeaglesprings.com Eagle Springs boasts a vibrant community life, with residents taking part in everything from running to walking clubs.
